How to exclude floor mounted assets (standalone devices such as 3PAR V400) from racks in use value in inventory report, if each standalone device needs to be installed within 19" rack, not itself?
If standalone device is mounted to rack, than also rack unit values in rack-u-space report are wrongly counted.
How to separate those racks (or any other), in inventory or rack-u-space report?
Thanks for help.

Hi Fillip,
I believe out of the box it is not possible/supported to filter the reports as you've described.
Perhaps using the device Properties and adding something like "stand alone" in the device name might help, then they will be easily spotted in the reports.
Or perhaps a "generic floor equipment" could be customized and used, that would not require to be rack mounted.
But concerning your comment "If standalone device is mounted to rack, than also rack unit values in rack-u-space report are wrongly counted.". I could not see this in my tests, but if you could share some screen captures and a copy of your solution, then I would be happy to take a look. Please let me know if I should share a =S= box with you, thanks.
Kind regards
