Hello,   StruxureWare Data Center Expert Surveillance  can only work with cameras connected to a NetBotz appliance. For version 3 appliances, this means the NetBotz camera pods and any Pelco cameras documented in the Knowledge base at APC.com or in the firmware release notes. They should be the same.  For the NetBotz 750, you can use the NetBotz IP camera pod 165 (NBPD0165). His is the only camera pod that supports motion detection on the 750. No 3rd party cameras are listed as officially tested but any camera that supports the ONVIF ‘S’ protocol should be discoverable. Hello,   The version 3 NetBotz appliances such as the 450 or 570 support a limited number of Pelco cameras. These are listed in our knowledge base and this document as well as release notes for newer NetBotz firmware are updated when and if new cameras are tested: http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA158450   Some of the Pelco cameras are PTZ. No other cameras are supported on these version 3 appliances. I am aware most of these are older and out of date however no new cameras are being tested at this time.   For the NetBotz 750, no PTZ option is enabled on the appliance. We officially support the NBPD0165 IP camera which does not use PTZ. No other cameras have been officially tested but the 750 should be able to connect to any camera that uses the ONVIF 'S' standard. Please also note that the ONVIF 'S' standard does not support motion detection and if you require motion detection on the 750, the NBPD0165 is the only option at this time.   Thanks, Steve   ... Hi @jzurera    Any alarms on a NetBotz appliance is sent by the NetBotz itself. DCE can't e-mail you based on something like a temperature threshold that's set on the NB550. What DCE will do however is e-mail you if there is a communications lost event between DCE and the NetBotz appliance. There is currently no configuration for this, it is automatic. Any user that has both access to the NetBotz appliance in DCE via user rights AND has an e-mail associated with their user account / login, will receive e-mails about the communications issue. P.S. Cory pointed out to me that unlike previous NetBotz hardware, the 750 is supposed to be able to handle the full complement of 150 pods without an external power supply. Hi SESA11693,   We strongly recommend using our backup option. If the customer would like to take a snapshot of their VM and save it, they can always do that but if there's an issue with the snapshot, we may not be able to assist them as well as we might with a DCE backup from the system itself. If it's an issue of space, they can purge some of the data. There's also an option in the most recent DCE versions to compress the backup (can't be used in the incremental backups).   If they feel they want to use the Vm option, I would suggest they at least run a configuration backup every so often so that if there's an issue with the system and the snapshot, they at least have something to fall back on.     As for DCO, I'll have to defer to someone more knowledgeable about DCE as I'm not as up to speed on that system but I would imagine similar recommendations would be in order for that system as well.   Thanks, Steve ...
