What HID Corporate 1000 card formats are supported by Security Expert?
Security Expert Server
Security Expert Controller
Security Expert Smart Card Reader
Information about HID Corporate 1000 card formats is needed to configure the card readers correctly. The existing documentation does not mention this.
Some Corporate 1000 formats have been validated and may work using the provided Reader 1 Format setting which uses a 35-bit format. It is located in the drop-down menu Expanders > Reader Expanders > Reader x as shown below. Other formats may work however it is recommended to first test these cards.
If the format specification is known, it is possible to program the cards as a custom format. If not known, Product Support will need RAW card reads from at least 3 different cards for each bit length, i.e. 3 cards where the length is 36 bit and 3 cards where the length is 42 bits. This can be gathered by navigating to Expanders > Reader Expanders and setting the Reader Format to Any Bit RAW, then badging your cards. When this is done take screenshots of the reader events by executing an Event Search or create an Event Filter for All Reader Events.
Refer to KB article Show raw card data of a badged card in Security Expert for further details.
