A new version of the SmartX engineering Module for Niagara is available for testing and has been posted to the box folder.
The release notes will highlight issues that have been fixed. We are in the process of verifying those fixes and I will update the issue log shortly:
It contains following new items:
247: Script Program Object Should be renamed to Custom Script Program
239: Need column for object ID number
236: We want to expose Priority_Array slot in wire sheet for the following VAV child objects: Effective Reheat Command and Discharge Air Temp
188: The beta testers have requested that the automatically created Script Function objects to be created in their own folder. We would like this folder to be named "Functions for Visual Script Program Blocks" This will help prevent clutter on the wiresheet.
246: Latch Block missing input type select
221: After a factory reset, a download all does not download the visual script programs
219: Diftime block does not generate a comment
213: Select Block does not generate comments above code
185: Beta testers have requested that the Terminal Slot for all input and output objects should be pinned by default. This way you can scan accorss the wiresheet and know that you have assinged terminals to all your I/O points.
24: Config folders should be allowed so that objects can be organized.
You can access them here:
Important Note!! - you need to install the BACnet fix below before you can use this version!
Don't forget, to take advantage of Config folders, you will need a patch for Niagara. The zip file contains the files needed for each version of Niagara. Simply pick the version you need and then replace the existing bacnet-rt.jar with the one in this file. Station restart will be required.
That file can be found here:
Everyone will need to add the patched BACnet jar files to their Niagara install before anything will work with Build 38. By default there is a config folder created for the functions created by Visual Script Programs.
If you don't add the patched BACnet module the station will fail to run.
