We have a DCO/DCE setup an use three different types of PDUs, two single and one 3 phase (AP8886). For the AP8886 the power information under "Properties > External Systems > Device" seems to use wrong information for "Peak Amps". Instead of using the Phase's amp it uses the Bank's amp. The other values (Avg. and Peak Power) are reported correctly.

What is the version of your DCO and DCE?
As described in the following page, some rack pdus (such as AP8886) reporting power bank information to DCE might report wrong power data to DCO:
Correcting False Power Values Reported by StruxureWare Data Center Expert 7.2.6
The above mentioned page contains both detail description and a patch to fix, but please notice that the patch is designed for DCE 7.2.6+.

Hi Jef, We are running 7.2.7 on DCE and the patch is already applied, DCO is at 7.5. I also removed the connection between DCE/DCO after applying the patch, reconnected it and reassigned all PDUs again. I guess this is a specific bug relating to 3 phase PDUs, as it takes the Amp values from Banks 1-3 instead of Phases 1-3 (see screenshot). Regards, Simon

Hi Simon, For the time being I'm not able to test it my self yet, however One thing that needs to be 100% correct is the time frame in DCE and DCO. DCO collects the peak values over the last 30 days (default) and that value cannot be compared with the sensor value on the device through DCE as shown in the screen shot. In order to compare you will need to build a report on the device you are looking at for the last 30 days in DCE, and then compare the peak value with DCO. Kind regards

Hi Jef, I understand what you're saying, but that's not the problem I'm trying to show you. As you can see on the screenshot, the Peak Amp value for L3 in DCO is reported as 0A, but the Peak Power is 0.39kW. On the other side in DCE you clearly see that nothing is connected to Bank 3, which leads to my point that DCO is mistakingly using Bank 3 instead of Phase 3 for Peak Amp only. Regards, Simon

Hi Simon, I was discussing this particular AP8886 issue with our team, and it seems your applied patch may have corrected the power readings (from DCE), i.e. the kW readings seems to be correct. But you might be right and your point is taken concerning the Amps readings, which is a new feature in DCO 7.5. I've just been told that our team is setting up a test environment to investigate AP8886s "Amps" readings (from DCE). I will share the outcome with you as soon as possible. Kind regards

Hi Simon, Many thanks for taking the time and confirming over a direct email that the provided patch did resolve the issue. Here is a few lines from the kindly shared confirmation: "It has now been a month since I last compared the power values between DCO and DCE. And long story short, the plugin works as expected!
