Can anyone tell me how I disconnect my phone lines coming in the house from the APC and connect them to the regular connection. We no longer need the APC system and want to go back to a regular land line.

I'm a little confused as to how you have this unit's data line protection connected to a panel. This unit was meant to take just a wall connection, protect it via plugging it in, and running another wire out to your device. Do you have a little more information on how this is set up? A picture or two would help.

Are you referring to a broadband UPS system on the telephone line outside your house? Or are you referring to a small Back-UPS system you have plugged into an outlet inside your home? Do you have a model #?
If this is a small Back-UPS inside your home, then you would just need to take the cord that goes INTO the UPS from the wall and plug it directly into your phone/DSL modem/etc.

I am trying bypass the the unit completely and go back to the regular phone line. We no longer use the system and want to take it out. It is an APC-Smart UPS 420/620.

Sorry, it is in the house and has the UPS in the house with a panel on the wall and such. I hate to call the people that put it in as they charge $118.00 an hour.
