Restarting Servers when power is restored

How would I go about configuring this? Is this something I would setup on our NMC? This response was posted by an anonymous source online.

Hi,

For the servers to restart following a shutdown event you must configure the BIOS of the servers to restart when AC is restored. Since the servers are off there is no way for an application to command them on. To ensure that AC is cut to allow the server to power back up after a power failure you need to configure PowerChute Network Shutdown to shutdown the UPS. By doing so AC will be cut to the servers and when the BIOS see that AC has been restored the server will restart automatically. 

There is Knowledge Base document FA159550 on this subject and there have been quite a few discussions on this forum concerning this. The Knowledge Base document recommends setting the BIOS to last state however some people have recommend setting the BIOS to always on. I recommend setting the system to last state and if that is not compatible change to always on.

To configure a outlet group shutdown and power in the NMC go to Configuration - Outlet Groups (review the help files for assistance with the settings).
