Hi..
In HSBY system with CPU (BMEH582040). How IP addresses gets assign internally to port. Means Which port has main IP address and which port has IP address A.
Does Service port is internally connected to rack? How service port is used as redundant ethernet link between the racks?

This is not right forum. M580 is not machine control system.
Service port is connected to rack.
Address A is at CPU with set A, Address B is at CPU with set B.
Main IP is at Primary CPU and Main IP+1 is at Standby.
Only at the latest FW is possible to connect both service ports to one switch.
For interconnection between HSBY CPUs is need to connect HSBY link by SFP port and one of DUAL ports 2 or 3.

"Only at the latest FW is possible to connect both service ports to one switch." Have they fix the issue of network storm if both service ports are enabled now?
