It would be ideal to have a multiplier on the ODBC analog input point. Currently, to format the value desired, a user has to change their SQL query, or create a calculation analog point. The latter option will not process the correct timestamps.
I agree (whilst I haven't had to do this yet for ODBC points).
Having some 'Master' scaling available for almost all points (perhaps Internal points / Calculation points don't make sense) seems like a nice consistent approach.
I can image that there are times when this would be desirable for an OPC point, or an SNMP point, etc etc..
And doing it all once would produce better overall results than doing it only for one type of point now, and another type in the future etc etc
