I have a question about DCE Alarm Management. We are using a modbus device ABB CMS700 which can be connected to 20 PDUs for measurements. When monitoring these PDUs and one of these runs out of electricity, what would be the best way create an alarm.
I would like to use same notification policy to all sensors and set alarm configuration when starting use the device. Lets say that it is practically impossible to add individual sensors later to alarm configuration, too many racks in DC.
I tried use minimum value (0 W) threshold but seems that this will never be triggered. At first only few sensors are measuring load so I cannot put 1W value either. Rate of decrease -threshold doesn't work when using common policy, some sensors might measure hevier load than others. How should I monitor active sensors, get alarm when power goes to zero?
We are using Data Center Expert 7.8.1

I think for ABB CMS system, the only way to trigger a power "lost" alarm is via setting the minimum value of Power (W) or Current (A) as you may already do so (there are no breaker status can be monitored through the controller, unless you are adding auxiliary contract that comes with the breaker and monitored by another controller which supports Modbus or SNMP)
You might need to check the value measured for each branch output from time to time as some output might turn off for maintenance work.
