Can anybody tell me what are "Static Controls"? I tried to google it. But didn't get the exact idea about that. Why and how they can be used? and does apc have any static control products?
Waiting for the reply.

Hi, what they mean by that are "mechanisms and procedures to mitigate / eliminate the hazard that static electricity presents to servers/hardware in a data centre". The term controls refers to things like proper grounding of racks and electrical feeds to the racks, maintaining safe humidity levels ( avoiding low humidity primarily), using static-eliminator straps on your wrists when changing out server internal components like memory & hard drives, etc.

I think your question is best answered by someone from APC/Schneider Electric who knows their full product range....which would likely include products for grounding/TVSS/etc. I am not sure if APC sells standalone humidifiers for IT rooms - if so that would be classified as a "Static Control" product.
