I have a Back-UPS ES 700, after a jumping power of 1 second, it started a continuous beep. I've tried to push the reset button, but no result. If I remove the plug from the wall, the sound stops. I controlled the battery which gives me 12,78 Volts. Even with no battery, if the unit is plugged the sound still continues. I tested the output voltage: 33 volts from battery backup and surge protection, 220 volts from surge protection only.
Du you know the problem?
Many thanks

Meanwhile I called, APS assistance in Italy and they gave me those instructions: unplug the unit from the wall, disconnects the battery then push the power button for 5 seconds.
Th unit was reset, now it works I will keep on charge for 2 day, the I'll tell you what happens.
Many thanks
