Food Services Industry readies itself for the long run
One of the major trends that we saw in 2019 is the digitization of the Food Safety environment (aka HACCP) that is getting adopted by more and more retailers including some Gas Stations or QSR giants.
With the current health & safety topics rising, many of the retailers out there are deciding to accelerate those requirements. Not for the short-term, but actually for the long run assuming the crisis will change the industry in a long lasting way.
Domino's Pizza serves as a good example of that in the following article. Changing the way we do retail business with zero contacts, taking into consideration delivery, tipping and more will enable more business as customers will gain trust in the Food Services industry and will want to get back to the habit of less "home cooking".
