We run an ATV 71 drive in some automated equipment we purchased. Overtime we have developed an issue where the ATV 71 drive displayed SCF4 fault. When the motor was disconnected the drive did not reset, therefore the drive was deemed bad. Drive was replaced and system ran for months, then again we had the same issue drive replaced, ran for months. Now we are at the point that the system will run normally for about a month after the new drive and then faults out with SCF4. No one has been able to figure out or recreate what is going on to mess up all of the drives. The motor break has been replaced multiple times, had a different motor put on and switched out all contractors and circuit breakers on the circuit. The wiring checks out fine from the cabinet to the motor and both motors test out fine. This machine does the same exact thing every day all day and its not like we changed something that causes the issue. Power coming into the system has been checked and test within tolerance (overload protection is in place) and temperature has been monitored in the cabinet.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
