We are used to the S-Link Sensor in IA and WPT. it has a push button that you can specify a Time out time in the program that will automatically release the "occupancy" button.
We found a way through creating logic to make this happen in EBO. But not sure if that would be able to be replicated in Niagara.
Would be a useful feature if with the "Occupancy Override" on the "Display Room Device" were to have a built in timer, that way we could simply write to the time, and it could timeout itself, rather than writing logic to toggle that point...

There is no support for Timed Occupancy Override in the MPX firmware. As such there is no support for that feature in the N4 MPX Modules either.
If you would like this feature added then you need to push for it to be added to the MPX firmware. This is handled through normal EBO feature request channels. One of those is to submit a Product Enhancement Request through NAMPSS.com.

I agree. This was easy with the S-link sensor. It feels like a step backwards with the Living Space Sensors.

I'm with you on that one. I feel that the tenant override feature
should have been a completely built-in feature to the Living Space
Sensor.
Since we have a wide array of backgrounds for people in here, and in fact some
are brand new to EBO...In case anyone isn't comfortable with scripts in general
and having trouble getting the occupancy to work on the sensor, try this script out.
Just make sure you connect the sensor occupancy directly to the program and back
to the sensor. The program will see the button press coming in.... then output a command
to keep the button lit for the duration...and then clear it when the override is completed.
If you press tenant override again before it finishes, then it'll clear out the override. This
is just one of a few methods, but it gets down to the theory of what to do.
I've used this on the SmartX controllers for a couple years but haven't tried it
out yet with the Tridium overlay. I've also seen in a release note that the newer
firmwares are reversing the action of the tenant override button to not show the current
state, but to show what will happen on the next press. I don't like that at all if it's what
i'm thinking since that'll be the opposite of a lit up IA MN-S3 stat. At least with a light,
you know it's in override! Worst case, it'll at least give some non-script people an intro
for one method used to make it work.

'2) When a tenant pushes button for occupancy override, a write

'3) If occupancy override needs to be cleared, another button press

'4) At the end of tenant override, a write will be made back to the

'5) Tenant occupancy override time (minutes) is adjustable.

Curious if there is an update on this? Looked through the room unit properties and do not see an override duration property.
