Every block i've brought in has a Min Pres Value of -3.4082001 and
a Max Pres Value of 3.40282001. I don't have a live controller set up
yet to determine if this is the range for the Status Flag to go to "inAlarm"
or if this is capping the output.
Either way, are there plans to tailor some of these default ranges depending
on the config block? Once it's brought in and changed, it probably isn't a
big deal for templates, but if bringing it in fresh, it's potentially one less thing
to change?
The default max/min values should be 3.40282..E38/-3.40282..E38 respectively. These values are consistent with the initial values created by EBO and prevent the object from starting in a Fault state. We had some issues with how N4 was creating the starting values early on in the project but they should be correct now. If there is a specific object type that is not correct, please let me know.
Makes sense, I didn't see past 16 places for the E38.
For conversion items such as voltage outputs (0 to 100 = 0 to 10 Volts)
or current outputs (0 to100 = [0 or 4] to 20mA) or AO units as percent,
I tend to generally put the same things in every new block.
Is the palette going to remain "unlocked" so that we can have
our own default config objects?
