**_sborenstein: Can the JR900 be used as a master radio and serial device server for a network of KR900's? Meaning, if I were to use a serial-ethernet converter to link to a master KR900 radio via ethernet (server to radio), can I accomplish the same task with a single JR? If so, can the JR do this for multiple streams? Steve_**

jweder: Hi Steve,
It is not possible for a J radio to talk directly to a K. But if you have a need to connect an ethernet device to a K (serial) network you could use an external device such as a terminal server. eg Moxa or Lantronix. However, the J Series radios now include a built-in Ethernet/serial gateway capability.
