FAQ - Issues Attending a Schneider Electric Hosted Webinar (USA)

Registration

Webinars hosted by Schneider Electric for engineers & designers will almost always require registration.

You should use the same email for webinar registration as the one used for the mySchneider portal registration. This allows us to transfer attendance to the Learning Management System within the mySchneider portal. Although mySchneider portal registration is not required to attend a webinar, it is required before or soon after watching the webinar in order to take tests for CEU credits or receive completion certificates from your transcript record kept within our Learning Management System.

If not a mySchneider portal member, you can register here any time:  https://www.se.com/us/e2e

Ten minutes after registering you will receive an email with the webinar attendance link. If you don't receive this email and it's not in your junk/spam folder, please contact PartnerPortalSupportUS@se.com and provide your email, webinar's registration url and webinar date/name.

Most of the time issues are due to spam filters not allowing some emails from the domain "@se.com". It is highly recommended that you register for webinars and submit any issues with receiving an attendance link prior to the day of the webinar in order to resolve and view the event.

PDH and CEU Credits

Many of our webinars for engineers are provided with PDH and/or CEU credits. You must be a mySchneider portal member to be eligible to receive them. It is best if you are a portal member prior to the webinar, but shortly after is ok. Please note that our PDH credits are accepted by most states while our CEU credits are accepted by all states for engineer PDH credits. We do not register as a PDH provider with states, but try to follow the guidelines for many. We do register CEU courses as a CEU provider with IACET the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training.

If not a mySchneider portal member, you can register here any time:  https://www.se.com/us/e2e

Completion certificates may not be available until 10 days after the webinar.  This gives attendees time to register for the mySchneider portal prior to transferring attendance data from the webinar to the portal Learning Management System for required record keeping purposes. You should receive an email letting you know your attendance has been recorded in your online transcript. This email may be blocked by spam filters or enter your junk email folder.

From the USA mySchneider for engineers and designers Home or Trainings page select Get Your PDH Certificate to access your transcript, view certificates and print as needed. On other mySchneider portals find your way to your transcript.

To get CEU credits from an eligible course you must pass the test with a ≥70% score. An email will be sent shortly after the webinar with the link to the curriculum that contains the test. If you do not receive the email (spam filters), you can always do the following:

  • Visit this forum
  • Find the post with POST WEBINAR INFO - {name of series or webinar}
  • Download the attached presentation pdf file for that particular webinar
  • Use the test link provided within the instructions towards the end of the presentation. Please note that accessing this link tells the system you want a CEU/PDH certificate, so the PDH only certificate given for just attending will not show in your transcript.
  • Once you pass the test you will need to return to your transcript after the 10 day waiting period to retrieve the completion certificate for the CEU course curriculum. It contains Event (attended) and Test (passed).

Please contact PartnerPortalSupportUS@se.com if you still have issues.

On-Demand Viewing of Past Webinars

Within 30 days after a webinar has occurred, we provide it as on-demand content within our mySchneider portal for engineers and designers. Just go to our Trainings page.  It will either be listed in the Recommended Training section or select Go to Learning Center and search for what you are looking for. Within our Learning Management System...

  • Filter for Type for Playlist to easily find webinar series.
  • Search for CEU and filter Type for Curriculum to find content eligible for CEU credits.
  • FIlter for PDH and filter for Video or Curriculum to find content eligible for PDH credits (in most states).

Please note that if you are not a USA or CAN mySchneider portal member you may have trouble accessing our USA created on-demand content. There is a program being developed on some international mySchneider portals that will allow you to access USA created content once selected.
