Note: This product is now obsolete. It can be substituted by an IM400.
Pay attention to the following points when making your demo with XM200 (and if available, XD3xx) products:
- check what is the Power Supply level of the XM200 (there are several references: 115V, 220V, 380V, you can read this from the XM200 label)
If it's the expected power supply level is 220V, then you can simply plug it in the room. Otherwise; maybe you have have to bring power supply through a transformer
-If you also have XD301 or XD312, you need to check what is their power supply level as well
- For simple test, you can just connect a Resistance (for example around 1kOhms) and a Capacitance (if you have one, for example around 5µF) between injection terminal of XM200 and earth.
- If you have XD, make this injection cable pass through the XD toroid.
- Setup the alarm threshold of XM200 at 2kOhms: the XM200 will alarm. And the XD should turn ON, indicating that the fault is detected
