I have a question about "ION Device Template Reference".
"ION Device Template Reference" classifies modules into three types.
The definitions are "Low speed(with white color)" or "Low speed/High speed(with light gray color)" or "High speed(with dark gray color)".
I found description about "Low speed" and "High speed" from user manual.
It says that "Low speed" module's update cycle is once in a second and "High Speed" module's update cycle is once in a half cycle.
I understand about it, but what does the "Low speed/High speed(with light gray color)" mean?
Do you have any idea?
Thanks,
Hello @Tomohiro-Okada ,
Low speed/High speed means that the modules update rate will depend on the update rate of all the inputs to the module. This is also sometimes called mixed mode.
If all inputs are low speed, module will update every second. If inputs are high speed, module will update every 1/2 cycle.
Regards,
Charles
