What is throttling range?

I/A Series controllers

Setting a proper throttling range will allow for more accurate control of external actuators and devices.

Throttling range is the amount of change in the process variable that is necessary to cause the controller output to change from 0 to 100%. The controller output may be 4-20mA, a voltage range, or pressure range.
