A USB connected printer cannot be used as a Live Alarm Printer configured for continuous printing.


Can a USB connected printer be used a as a Live Alarm Printer configured for continuous printing?


Live Alarm


To provide the continuous printing function Sigma maintains a connection between the print queue and the printer, therefore keeping the port open and available at all times. Due to the way they operate, it is not possible for USB ports to remain open.


It is not possible to use a USB printer for continuous printing. 

The USB "Page Printing" option operates correctly.
