Issue
102-AX plug-in will not calibrate airflow, but on the Status page the airflow setpoint changes, but the damper position doesn't.
Product Line
TAC Vista
Environment
Xenta 102-AX firmware versions prior to 2.1.6
Cause
Firmware versions prior to 2.1.6 had a bug in the airflow calibration functionality. The damper will not modulate to maintain the desired flow (low/high) thus preventing calibration.
Resolution
If your 102-AX is at a firmware version below 2.16:
- When you start calibration through the plug-in the airflow setpoint will go to minimum flow; however, the damper position will not change once you start calibration (Note: It used to work in earlier versions).
- Leave the unit in calibration, go back to the Status tab and override the damper. Adjust it until you reach the cooling low flow setpoint, then take the airflow reading and enter your low airflow reading.
- Now modify the damper position to maintain airflow near the high airflow setpoint, take the airflow reading and enter in your high airflow reading. The box should now be calibrated, remember to take the damper position out of override so the damper can modulate as needed.
This issue has been corrected in 102-AX firm version 2.16. You can also upgrade the firmware and the calibration through the plug-in will work as expected.
