We had a close lightning hit a while ago and my UPS Model BPS350C started beeping, so I took it offline. Today, I plugged it again and it still beeps. Can this be from a fried battery, or has my UPS been destroyed?

It depends on the beeping pattern and what lights are lit up on the UPS, as well as how it functions aside from the noise. I would also recommend calling tech support for troubleshooting to determine if the unit simply needs a new battery or something similar: 800-890-4272 option 5 for tech support, option 2 for Back-UPS.
