I had purchased a APC home UPS Model number HI800SQ on 09-Mar-2009 at Bangalore. Last week, the unit ceased to work and I contacted the customer service. They took down my complaint and a service engineer from "Autopower Systems & Solutions" (#94, 4th cross ag's layout, new bel road, bangalore - 54 | ph: +91 - 80- 23606096 / +91 80 23601897) visited my house within a day. He noted down the issue and recommended a replacement of the main unit and assured that this will be replaced immediately. The service request number is C1-1972242824 dated 9-Aug-2010. However, no one turned up with the replacement unit in-spite of me following up with the service executives. Everyday, they promise to come by end of day, but no one turns up. Now we are told that they have units for replacement but they do not have the connector cable and hence the delay. There seems to be a disinterest in resolving issues with products under warranty.
Given the frequent power cuts in Bangalore, this delay is causing utmost discomfort to me. I request you to kindly look into this issue and help in expediting this service request.
