The battery is definitely connected, the surge-protection-only outlets are working fine, none of the warning indicator lights are on and the circuit-breaker button isn't sticking out. I've charged the thing for more than sixteen hours now. I press the POWER button and nothing happens. Nothing. Suggestions?

OK, if nothing is working on the UPS, I would recommend calling into our tech support team, 800-890-4272, to see if there is any other options to try. If nothing still works, we can replace the UPS under warranty.

Thanks for the link. That article was actually the first thing I looked at when I began having problems. None of its suggestions worked. My device won't even cold start from the battery. Pressing, and even holding down, the power button simply does nothing.
