Why can't we have a logical in-rack PDU design? All I would like is a full-length (42U) PDU with a C13 outlet at each U. Put the management features and ethernet connections at the top (why? because I would plug it into my "top-of-rack" switch!). The current designs with too numerous C13 outlets in the middle of the PDU creates a spiderweb of power cables in the back of my cabinets. Very annoying for an admitted obsessive/compulsive perfectionist like me... Sorry, just had to vent on this.... Don't ask me about the poor (horrible) design of the Cisco 10Gbps top of rack switch...!!!
