When do the Point Alarm Limits Get Processed

In ClearSCADA, alarm limits are inclusive in the processing. This means that the High High, High, Low and Low Low alarms will be raised when the process values reaches or passes the limit. For example, if the High limit is 80, the alarm will be raised as soon as the point value hits 80.
The Full Scale and Zero Scale limits are used for out of range processing. The alarms based on these limits (Engineering Units Exceeded) are raised when the limit is transgressed. For example, for a point where the range is 0-100, the value 100 is valid and so will not be flagged as overrange. When the value hits 100.01, the overrange alarm is raised.
