[import] How to disable the expiry for passwords in Clear
>>Message imported from previous forum - Category:ClearSCADA Software<< User: amanshow, originally posted: 2018-12-10 06:25:22 Id:336 Good day!
I think the title says it all already but I just want to know, is there any way to disable the expiry for passwords of user accounts in ClearSCADA? For example, I want the Operator to have the same password "Oper12345" and the Engineer with "Eng12345" all throughout.
I wanted to uncheck the option that "user can change password" but the operators wanted the ability to be able to change passwords anytime they want.
Is it possible to just put "0" days on the option "Passwords expire after" found in Security under System Configuration? If there are other ways, please feel free to reply. I appreciate any help!
You really want to use those passwords ... ? I assume this is for private dev only.
Yeah those aren't exactly the passwords. Just for sample purposes. But thanks for the response!
In case the others have another idea how y'all can respond to this thread.
