When you override a point value in the master, the current value of the point is fixed to the overridden value. But receipt of data carries on 'internally'. 'Put Aside' is the name given to this data which is (almost) ignored during the override.
a) With no special configuration, ClearSCADA will save values gathered while a point has a Master Override – and store them in the point columns PutAsideValueFormatted, PutAsideTime ' etc b) Also, when you override and then release, the historic list and trend will show: . 1. Override to the selected value . 2. Release at the same selected value . 3. Another historic value at the same time as the release, for the value last received from the point through its protocol (the most recent put aside value, if there is one, or the original value before the override, if there isn't) c) When you configure a point and enable historic put aside on the point form, the master will save additional historic values received from site during the override. d) These are not visible in the menu ‘Display Historic List' or ‘Display Historic Trend' e) To add them to a trend, drag on/create a trace and select ‘Raw Historic'. Click the trace settings ‘Advanced' button and select ‘Extended Source Filter' and ‘Put Aside'. This trace only shows put aside data. f) To add them to a list, click Edit Query on the normal Historic List, and: . 1. Add the column PutAside, which is true for this type of data . 2. Change the table from ‘CDBHistoric' to ‘CDBHistoricAll'
