Hi guys
Strange issue occurring with Clear Scada
Upon attempting to log off an error message came up indicating the following
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
Once this message comes up ClearSCADA closes and does not allow you to log off, however once ViewX is reopened users can log on smoothly.
Any advice on solving this issue?

I'd raise a ticket with Schneider Tech Support, they'll ask you to provide ViewX logs, and possibly DB logs also.

Good day,
It seemed to have stem from my password being close to expiration.
As soon I updated my password it issue no longer occurred

Please please please make sure you have raised this with support, along with crash dumps and logs, plus what your fix was. Support can advise further what is useful to collect.
If it happens to you whatever the underlying conditions are may well happen to others and if no one sends the relevant info to support they won't know that its a problem to be able to fix it, and it'll just make ClearSCADA look bad 'because the software just keeps crashing and no one is fixing it'.

What Adam said, plus if it's something we've already fixed we can let you know that upgrading will resolve the problem.

Support will advise you on what they need when you contact them, but I'd guess a copy of the database (not an SDE as that will reset the account characteristics), ViewX logs and the minidump created by ViewX. They generally like DB and DB Snapshot logs but personally not sure they will have much use in this case but that's Support's call.
