This is a re-posting from the obsoleted (October 2018) "Schneider Electric Telemetry & SCADA" forum.

**_Hello, Thanks for reading!_**

**_I'm doing the configuration of some electric systems, those are very geographically dispersed. And can be in a lot of different places. So the question is How many areas of interest can be set up in a CS Database? Is there some limit?_**

It's very unlikely that you'll reach limits...
There can be thousands of Areas Of Interest. Generally they're more trouble than they are worth to maintain...

If you are using Areas of Interest for geographical regions, then you might want to consider looking at using ClearSCADA 2017 and Regions.
This allows for sites (with appropriate geolocations) to automatically end up in the appropriate region, and for the appropriate operators to get alarms etc.

It's a more applicable feature than Area of Interests in my opinion.
