[Imported] Alarm Redirection ID not accepted

>>Message imported from previous forum - Category:Bulk Edit Tool<<
User: kvacola, originally posted: 2019-05-23 20:08:03 Id:436
System = ClearSCADA 2015 R2

I'm using bulk edit to add a new alarm redirection for all alarming points in my system, but when I export and modify the AlarmRedirection.Action1Id (or 2Id, 3Id), and import the changes bulk edit errors on the numeric id "The database does not contain an object named '1234'"

I do not want to add all these new alarm redirections by hand, so how do I format this so I can add/modify the ActionID field?

The two tables I'm working in are CModbusPointAlg & CAdvModbusDigitalIn.

Thanks!

Is the alarm redirection aggregate enabled?

Is there a reason you can't add the redirections to the parent group or even the system root group, so they only need to be set in one place?

Bulk Edit displays the Alarm redirection ID, but to change it you have to put in the Alarm redirection OPC Path. Just like what you see when you set an alarm redirection from with in ViewX.

So if my redirection ActionID was 1234, but in ViewX it was 'System.DPH.Callout.Assignment.Supervisor.SupervisorPrimaryCallout' ... that's what I need to enter in the Excel sheet and not the ID number?

And yes, the Redirections are all enabled for select analog and digital points. I'm only adding a 3rd line.

Yes an example of one of mine is Off the Root I have a Email redirections group and then a group for a specific set of redirections and then the redirections. I have to put in this for one of those

Email Redirects.Station A.E-Mail Action for Critical

I've tried every combination of quotes (double, single) and no quotes and I get the same error "The database does not contain an object named 'abcdef'"

I just loaded my Dev VM that has 2015R2 Build 77.5882 and the Bulk Edit that came with it. It worked fine for me with no quotes.
Try setting one redirection in ClearSCADA and copy it. Paste that into the Bulk Edit Exported sheet.
Maybe something is getting messed up in your file with the string.
I have used Excel, Open Office and Libre Office to edit the file.

You can try the quick edit and paste it directly into bulk edit just to see if it works.
If you have never used the quick edit it basically works like this, Double Click on AlarmRedirection.Action1Id, select a point in the list and then press the Edit button at the bottom.
