The Co2 sensor is removable from the SXWSBTXCXSXX , but I can't find the part number to order a replacement. Are they available?

I don't believe that this is intended as a field replaceable item

The CO2 Sensor is Non Dispersion InfraRed (NDIR). It does not contain a chemical element. That provides for a typical longer life and reliability, is not intended for field replacement. The product electronics continually monitors the sensor and provides continued accuracy.

We are seeing maybe 1or 2% failure (as in reading 0) within 1 year. If they were not meant to be replaceable, SE should save the money and solder them to the board without using a socket!

I dare say that they also aren't designed to have that sort of failure rate either... I suggest that you contact your local support channel to have them replaced under warranty. You might also request a failure analysis, known in SE as a TEX request.

The CO2 sensor on the SXWSBTXCXSXX isn't socketed. It's not field replaceable.

The one in front of me is 🙂
See attachment. So the only reason it is not field replaceable is because SE chooses not to make it available for replacement.
