When will the option to launch to devices from the web interface be an added feature?
Most of our end users do not install the client but use the web interface. Launching to power strips is a critical tool and its not currently working for us.
Will this be changed in the near future or is there a way to do it that I am not aware of?
thanks

I created a customer property called "Launch to Device" and set the value as "http://<IP>". From the DCO desktop client I was able to select this custom property and launch to the device
This custom property became visible in the web client and i was able to launch to the device
Custom properties can be set automatically with a little scripting if the FQDN or IP is available and can be matched some how to the DCO device, e.g. the IP address is already set for the device in DCO. Doing it automatically, say each night, means you never have to worry about the link being present or incorrect, as long as the IP address is kept accurate. If you have a small number of devices, or to test this, set up the CP manually
I hope that eventually that capability is built into DCO desktop and web clients as it is in the DCE clients but in the meantime, this work around seems to function OK.
Cheers

Thanks Ed, I was wondering if custom properties would be in play. Unfortunately I have 600 power strips to edit now. I will have to see if one of our other team members can do the scripting required. We can only hope that this function is added to the web client as it already works from the desktop client.
Can Schneider chime in for a solution?
