The EcoStruxure IT forum makes it easy for data center professionals from all over the world to connect and exchange knowledge. Diversity is our strength. To keep our community happy and productive, we ask that you keep a few basic ground rules in mind.
Be welcoming, friendly, and patient. Some members of the forum are new to DCIM - you were there once yourself, remember? Some are seasoned professionals and subject matter experts. Not everyone is a native English speaker. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Good manners go a long way.
Be thankful. When other members answer your questions, accept the answer that worked for you as the solution. This shows your appreciation and helps other forum members find a solution quickly.
Be active. You joined this forum to solve problems, and you expect solutions. Share your knowledge, and help others by answering some questions. They’ll return the favor.
Be thorough. Here are some guidelines to help you get the most out of the forum:
• Describe your problem as thoroughly as possible when you ask a question, and attach pictures if necessary. But keep in mind that this is an open forum. Don't share passwords, IP addresses, and other sensitive information.
• Choose the label that best suits your question and then add message tags to elaborate on the type of issue - e.g. configuration, security, bug, etc.
Be respectful. We all get frustrated now and then, but that’s no excuse for bad behavior. Personal attacks, insults, harassment, and other exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.
Can you please explain what happened to previous StruxureWare Expert & Operation forum, why transition took so long, and where are all the previous questions/issues/tickets? It was a good knowledge base and a reference point.
Happy to see you here!
There's an ongoing effort to gather all Schneider forums in one place which is here on Exchange. The migration of content has proven a difficult task and is something we're still working on. We decided to open the forum without content, but with the same team here ready to support you.
We hope for your patience while we work on making the questions and answers available to you here on Exchange.
Thank you for getting back to me on this.
As a person working on a daily basis with SE software, all the issues discussed and solved here are extremely important as a reference point and practical knowledge base.
I appreciate the fact that systems migration can be difficult (for whatever reason), but please do not throw idea of restoring previous content away, make it available for us back again.
Glad to see this forum back on-line.
Is it possible to get a daily digest email of all of the activity? I am currently receiving every post individually.
Glad to see you here!
