After associating an intelligent power strip to a power strip in DCO, via DCE, the live power reading is shown on the power strip and rack. However nothing is shown on any of the upstream components, floor PDU, UPS etc.
I have associated the device by going Device Association selecting the item from the DCE server then right clicking on the device in DCO and selecting Associate.
Is this meant to be the case? If so why?

Hi James,
For measured peak to show on the upstream,e.g floor pdu, ups, you will need to have the respective upstream devices associated in dco.
For example, ups to ups, digital power meter to the respective floor PDU/distribution board.
Regards,
Chris

Christopherus Laurentius - thanks for the answer. I think it would be good if in lieu of having an associated device for the UPS, floor PDU etc the totals of the connected devices lower down the chain were shown. This would then be replaced once an association is made with the correct power meter.
I am in a situation where we have all rack power strips associated but it’s not displaying on the UPS as we have no access to the UPS meter.
