My client is having issues with sensor pods reporting offline consistently. They have a Netbotz 550 solution with 11 sensor pods; some 155s and some 150s, with no additional power supplies.
The last 3 pods seem to flap online-offline on a daily basis but this is not showing on the Netbotz 550. The issue is only with EBO that is monitoring the Netbotz.
We have tried to add a power supply to the first sensor pod flapping but this has not resolved the issue. We have checked the A-link cable to the first sensor pod with the issue that also have not resolved it.
Apart from may be extending our timeout for the modbus queries, is there anything else one should check?

The first thing I would suggest is to add power supplies to the chain of sensor pods. You state you have 11 and no power supplies. The manual:
States that you should have basically one power supply if you have more than 10 pods.
Before performing this procedure, follow the installation instructions provided with the devices you are cascading. If you cascade more than ten sensor pods, be sure you have a supplemental power supply (Power Supply 100-230 VAC/24 VDC—AP9505i) to connect to your system as directed in this procedure.
I would strongly suggest one every 4 pods especially if there are potential issues.
