Yes. Log in with a user that has admin privileges and go to :
System
Users and Device Acccess
and then select the user you want to reset/change the password for and click Edit.

I will defer to the folks from APC/Schneider on doing a factory reset.

A client lost passwords and I wanted to know if it was possible to reset the password ADMIN without a factory reset. Apparently not. Thank you for your answers.

Hi Davy,
You need to have physical access to the server:
Please follow these steps in order to reset the password on ISX Central v5.1 higher:
1. Hook up monitor/keyboard to ISXC or setup hyperterminal serial session.
2. Reboot ISXC (by cycling power)
3. Login within 5 minutes of ISXC reboot with the following username/password:
username: apcreset
password: apc
4. Follow instructions when prompted to reset apc admin user to factory defaults (i.e. apc/apc)
5.Login to the Central client with the apc/apc as admin user/password, goto Settings-Users and Device Group Access to change the Central's user and password specifically.

Davy, The process described by Steven Marchetti above (reboot and logon locally) will enable you to change the the administrator password (as well as network details if required). It is not a factory reset back to "out of the box". As such, you would not lose your device configuration. I have performed this myself, and it works fine. Once the apc admin password has been changed locally on the appliance, you can then log on via the Thick client, and then add normal accounts, change passwords etc. It is a simple process, and should provide you with the outcome you require.

None - Parity
1 - Stop bits
None - Flow Control

Hi guys, This should be done by connecting a Keyboard and Monitor to the hardware server. You can not connect to anything above version 5 I believe using the serial connection.
