I believe this is a fault that the Contiguous Free Rack U-Space report shows free rear space available when it clearly shouldn't. Although the installed devices are noted as front-mounted, their depth dimension definitely should qualify them to discount the corresponding rear U space as well.
This is even the case when given ridiculous conditions.
Is it solely the device mounting type parameter that defines the output for this reporting?

You are right, it seems "Rear Contiguous U" reports are not working properly - I will register an enhancement case for this, so the codes can be reviewed, many thanks for reporting.
