Dear Support,
Is there any way we can add on a DCE physical server an additional public network card? Or is there any way we can use the LAN2 as a redundant public LAN?
Since the end user is requesting a redundancy network card on the DCE physical server.
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards,

Hi Hrant,
Sorry but no, you can't have a second public side NIC. The configuration allows only for 1 public side NIC and if you were to set the private side NIC up with a public IP you would see other issues (device communications etc) as DCE expects the devices on the private LAN to be different than those on the public.
This is from the Central's help files:
"The StruxureWare Central server is not a multihomed server. The private LAN (LAN2) is a private network used to communicate with devices monitored by the StruxureWare Data Center Expert server only. Integration with other network configurations, such as routing to a public LAN or redundant links, is not supported."
Thanks,
Steve
