I have a question for you automation masters out there,
I am struggling with the networking in DCO and was wondering if any of you have succeeded in making an automatic tool that can transform for example Excel file into network connections in DCO
If you did could you please give me insight on how you managed to do so?
and bonus question - did anyone of you found a way of transforming connection into work order (without recording it)?
Thank you very much!

What I think you're asking for around auto transfer network connections from Excel to DCO is achievable. This would require considerable effort, design and engineering. Can i ask why not record network connections straight into DCO? I was involved in a large effort to load thousands of Excel based connections to DCO. This was a one time migration effort and manually done but the tech principles are the same i think.
For network connections into a new or existing work order, I've never worked with this. If there's a way to get the data in, REST or ETL import then that should be doable but again, a lot of design and engineering.
I recommend understanding the business, not the technical need in detail before embarking on this. Happy to assist further if you like

Thank you for this response
after thinking about it more, i came around to the conclusion that the manual process cant be ignored and as you said its very similar to Excel
I do think that making some kind of tool for this still should be an option for existing environments that have made the manual work already and want to avoid repeating it
