I have a Netbotz 570 and it is showing a "Power Control Pod #571". It is also showing this pod "Disconnected" and has a symbol for a Rack PDU in DCE.
I keep deleting it in the Netbotz and it keeps popping back up, Any ideas?
Regards,
J
I recommend starting with making sure the appliance is on the most recent firmware. You can also label your connections, if you have many sensors, and unplug them all. Then delete just the Power Control Pod #571 from Advanced View. Plug the sensors back in one at a time and make sure that they show as the correct sensor type. Make sure to plug them back into the same port that they were originally connected to prevent unplugged sensors within Advanced View.
If the issue is still present after being on the most recent firmware, try clearing out the configuration using the unconfig option in kbase FA158175. NOTE: This will clear the configuration from the appliance, but it should still remain network accessible.
If the above step doesn't correct the issue, you can try to do the configreset option (method 2) within the same knowledge base.
Lastly, if neither of those options corrects the issue, you can try a TFTP firmware flash. Instructions for performing this can be found in knowledge base FA176133.
If none of the above steps correct the issue, you will need to reach out to your local technical support for further assistance.

Cory
