Hi,
Kindly i need to ask if the DCO ETL job can access a .csv file in a specified path in a remote server, and the .csv file is updated frequently with another SCADA system.
Please note that we cannot upload the .csv file manually in the DCO Pentaho import folder, as i've mentioned the .csv file is updated frequently.

Hi Momen
Can the remote location where the CSV file is stored be accessible to the DCO server? e.g. via SMB or NFS?
If not, perhaps you can develop a routine on the same system where the CSV is stored to write directly to the Import DB on the DCO server.
I can't recall but it may also be possible to create an ETL Import DB on a server remote to the DCO server, perhaps even the same place the CSV file is maintained?
You don't mention what type of data is to be imported?
Cheers
Ed
