ITA version: 9.1.2
DCE version: 7.8.0
After I upgraded ITA from 9.0.7 to 9.1.2 I experience the following error window:
Upgrade was a clean install on ITA. Above error window pop up several times every day.
Integration configuration is the following (I already increased the timeouts from default values but did not help):
Hello Mate
Couple of follow-up questions.
Does the DCE server have a large number of devices it monitors or does it have a long device history in its database?
You mentioned the alerts appear several times a day. Is it actually just a few times or do the errors actually occur throughout the day?
One comment regarding the external systems settings screenshot you pasted. The update device and update power information values are set to 600 seconds each, but you also have the server set to wait for 1200 seconds for data. This means you may be queueing up requests for device and power data on your DCE server if the DCE is taking more than 600 seconds to respond and if the DCE server is taking 20+ minutes to return data, then you're asking for data twice as quickly as its being provided.
First suggestion is to also increase the request device and power information to a value which is closer or equal to the wait timeout.
Have you enabled the debugging flags on your DCE server to see how long its taking for DCE to provide responses to the requests? If not we can send instructions.

Hello Greg,
Well, we have 938 monitored physical devices and 647 virtual devices with long history
Alerts are just appearing few times (4-5) on a day.
I modified the external system config to the following, hope it make more sense:
If you can send me how to enable debugging flags might handy to find optimal pulling interval between ITA and DCE.
Thank you.
I'm sending you a direct email to enable the debugging.

Hello Greg and Mate,
Did you find a solution to this issue? We have the same problem at our DCIM servers. It reappears after upgrading ITA 9.0.6 to 9.1.4.
Error appears twice or more in a day and it is really annoying.
We have almost 900 devices monitoring on DCE.
If you found a solution please share it with me.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
Hello Burhant,
I did the following changes compares to above screenshot and it solved my problem:
Update device information every 1500 seconds
Update power information every 1500 seconds
Stop trying to connect after 30 seconds
Stop waiting for data after 1500 seconds
