I'm trying to read values from a couple of SNMP power strips working in a Master-Slave basis. They use one simple IP address. How can I add them to different devices in DCE? Is it possible?
Thanks in advance

If the devices share an IP, DCE will see them as a single device. There's nothing you can do to add a full device unless you were to add the second one with a different IP.
The only other thing you can do is to create a virtual sensor for values that you would like to see as separate entities. If you have a pdu that has outlet current or wattage associated to it, you can create a virtual sensor associated with that value or a sum of the values of numerous sensors.

it is not acceptable to have hundreds of virtual sensors for this kind of power strips.
Are you planning to add this feature?

I am not aware of any current DCE initiative to be able to separate devices that are linked under a single IP. You can always request this as an enhancement though by using the resources / feature request menus above.
I do understand that it is quite time consuming and would potentially make a huge number of virtual sensors to be able to use that functionality but that's also why I noted first that you may want to add the devices individually if they need to be seen as separate devices in DCE.
