Hi Luis,
If you were to use a NetBotz 450, that unit has a relay output on it already. From that you could simply wire it to a relay which could trigger your door open mechanism. If you go with the 455/456, you would need extra hardware. The quick config guideis here:
http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/LSCZ-7DGMPF/LSCZ-7DGMPF_R4_EN.pdf?sdirect=true
This shows the Sealevel devices as I had previously mentioned, and which will work with the USB capable NetBotz appliance. This info is on page 28. The sealevel device could then be configured similarly to the output relay on the 450 unit to trigger the door mechanism.
There is also mention of a PDU. The older AP79xx units can be used but they must also have old firmware on them to work. The integration was based on PDU 2.7.4 firmware and interaction with the hyperterminal menu. The menu has subsequently changed so the older firmware is a must as per k-base FA158332.

Hi Luis,
That type of control is not available on the 355. Our rack access requires the 4xx or 5xx series NetBotz devices. Output based on a relay output or a connected Sealevel output device (also output relay) also requires the 4xx and 5xx series units. The 355 simply does not have that capability.

Thanks for the answer. So, if using a NetBotz 456 and a facility door (not a rack door), what else would I need to have an output that could close the door?
