I need to have the Genome Server library export made to an .xls format, how do I achieve that please?

Currently the only possible option is via (desktop client) File > Export > Genomes
Note: that would export it as a cat file, and it would be the content of your Genomes. if you need to export the whole Genome Library, then add all items from the Genome Library to your Genomes (double click or right-click on a folder > Add to Genomes).

Thank you for the answer. Is it somehow possible to work on the .cat file using MS Excel?

If the intention is to modify the file and import it to DCO, then that's not supported. The exported cat file be opened in MS Excel (or other text editor(s)) but may not be so pretty to read.
