Dear team,

I am trying to configure DCE email notification using smtp.gmail.com but smtp server is not reachable. You kind support is required and error screenshot is attached.

Can you please post a screenshot of the SMTP configuration and the version of DCE that you are using?

Can you go to https://DCE_SERVER_ADDRESS/nbc/status/Troubleshoot and try to ping stmp.gmail.com to confirm that your server can resolve the correct address.

Also as previously requested can you confirm the version of DCE you are using?

Dear Muhammad Shahzad,

According to Michael Hanseman response from post , you must:

I would use Gmail for testing. If you don't have a Gmail account already, it's free and easy to set one up.

Settings you need for the device.

smtp.gmail.com

Port 587

SSL enabled

Username and password.

Depending on the environment you may need to open port 587 outbound on the customer firewall/UTM.

We can not give out the root password to DCE servers , sorry.

Did you confirm if you can ping?
