Is open rack space presumed to be 100% impervious to air flow? If so, how do you account for ACTUAL gaps? For instance, when someone inconveniently runs cable between devices -thus waisting space - but you don't have a brush there ??
If it does not presume 100% blockage- then how do we keep the available rack space while at the same time applying blanking panels like the AR8136 which is not in the genome file (including the June file) - to correct the air configuration ?

Hi Eric, AFAIK, the cooling calculations assume well a managed data centre and the presence of blanking panels.
